Common review rejections
- A 16px favicon that is just a downscaled 1024 illustration — it turns to mud. Design the 16px mental model first.
- Missing apple-touch-icon, so iOS home-screen adds a screenshot instead of your mark.
- A manifest that points at the wrong sizes or omits a 512 maskable source.

Previews apply launcher masks. Downloads are square PNG masters plus platform folders. SVG is included when the source is clipart, text, or an uploaded SVG. iOS keeps important marks near a 10% inset; Android adaptive icons crop harder — about 17% is the safe circle.
